Seared salmon with lemon garlic butter

Yield: 4 portions

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 8-10 minutes

Ingredients:

4pc - Salmon Fillet

Salt & Pepper to taste

3 Tbsp – Lemon Juice

1 Tbsp – Olive Oil

2 Tbsp – Butter

8 Cloves - Garlic finely minced

4 Tbsp Parsley

Instructions:

  1. Pat dry salmon fillet with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add salmon fillet with flesh side down and pressing over so entire surface comes in contact with a hot pan. Sear untouched for 1-2min until crisp golden brown.
  3. Flip salmon fillet and sear for another minute. Add in butter, chopped garlic, 3tbsp lemon juice, and parsley. Check seasoning and cook until your desired doneness.
  4. Place cooked salmon fillet on a plate, pour over the sauce, and serve immediately.

Serve the salmon with a side salad, or with a portion of rice and your favorite vegetables.

Chef Note: A salmon filet is excellent served medium rare, however, feel free to cook it to the doneness you personally desire.
